Tim Keller

Tim Keller has a diverse range of work experience in various laboratory roles. Tim started their career as a Lab Technician at Novartis in 2014 and later joined the Swiss Army where they served as a Wachtmeister, gaining leadership experience. Tim then worked at Universitäre Psychiatrische Dienste Bern (UPD) AG as a Miterzieher, providing support and assistance to mentally ill children and adolescents.

In 2016, Tim transitioned to CSL Behring as a Laboratory Specialist in Process Science Upstream, MS&T, where they were involved in planning and setting up upstream laboratories. Tim also conducted fermentation processes, operated equipment, and performed various lab tasks.

Tim continued their career at Thermo Fisher Scientific as a Senior Lab Technician in Process Science Upstream, MS&T. Tim was responsible for establishing a new laboratory, conducting cell culturing experiments, operating equipment, and implementing PIMS software for data integrity. Tim also led lab-specific projects and trained employees.

Tim's most recent experience is as a Manager Lab Support at GlycoEra AG, where they ensure smooth lab operations, coordinates lab support services, and manages supplier relations. Tim is responsible for ordering, warehousing, and negotiating prices for lab goods and equipment. Tim also oversees facility and equipment maintenance, monitors supply, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.

Overall, Tim Keller has demonstrated a strong background in lab operations, equipment management, and process science, and has developed skills in leadership, project management, and data integrity.

Tim Keller attended Aprentas from 2011 to 2014, where they obtained a degree in Laborant EFZ Biologie with a focus on Zell-/Zellularbiologie und Molekularbiologie. In addition to their formal education, Tim has also obtained several certifications. In July 2014, they obtained a certification in Laborant EFZ Fachrichtung Biologie from Kanton Basel-Landschaft. Tim also holds certifications in Betreuung von Jugendlichen 1 from the Swiss Red Cross and Kommunikation und Betreuung from CURAVIVA Schweiz / Suisse / Svizzera, both obtained in February 2020. Furthermore, they obtained a certification as an Open Water Diver from PADI in October 2016.
