Fran Astore - Shay

Fran Astore - Shay is an experienced executive administrator with a diverse background in administrative support and leadership coordination across multiple organizations. Currently serving as Executive Administrator to the President and CEO at GlycoMimetics since March 2020, Fran has previously held similar roles at OpGen, Inc., QIAGEN, and Digene, contributing to top-level management and executive committees. With a solid foundation in sales and marketing from earlier positions at Cytology Services of Maryland, BDP International, and New Pig Corporation, Fran holds an Associate Degree in Business Administration from Frederick Community College, achieved between 1996 and 2020.
