Thom Danckaert

Thom Danckaert is an experienced architect with a robust background in design and education. Currently serving as an Architect at GMB since July 2019, Thom has previously held roles as an Adjunct Professor at Kendall College of Art and Design from 2006 to May 2020, where responsibilities included meeting curriculum standards and mentoring future designers. Prior to that, Thom worked at Progressive Companies from May 2004 to July 2019 as a Senior Design Architect, specializing in strategic brainstorming, conceptual design, and construction administration, and as a Project Designer focusing on conceptual design and art installation. Additionally, Thom gained experience as an Intern and Designer at Jickling Lyman Powell Associates from 1997 to 2004. Thom holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Michigan and a Bachelor's degree in Architecture from Lawrence Technological University.
