Gene Kobilansky

Gene Kobilansky has had a long and varied career. Gene began their professional journey in 2006 when they were an intern at JPMorgan Chase. In 2007, they were a Consultant and Management Analyst at BearingPoint. From 2009 to 2013, they held the roles of Manager and Senior Associate at PwC. During this time, they were a Business Consultant in the Advisory Practice and an Oracle Implementation Consultant. In 2013, they founded Flow Athletics and was an Assistant Wrestling Coach at New York University. In 2014, they founded Lancekey Advising and was the Founder and Developer there. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Co-founder, CEO of Wealthbot.io, where they managed the roadmap, bug tracking, and feature requests, and maintained the front-end of Symfony project. Gene also built a marketing site, blog, and one client site. In 2018, they became the Product & Tech Lead at GMB Fitness.

Gene Kobilansky obtained their BA in Finance from NYU Stern School of Business between 2003 and 2007. Gene then received a Certification in Management Consulting from Yale School of Management in 2007. In 2015 and 2016, they completed Full Stack Web Development from Free Code Camp. Additionally, they obtained a Front End Developer Certification from Free Code Camp in February 2016 and a Shaping up with Angular.js Certification from Code School. Prior to this, they attended Brighton High School between 1999 and 2003.
