Igor Trofimov

Igor Trofimov is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in business development and financial advisory services. Currently serving as Project Leader for Business Development at Norilsk Nickel since April 2017, Trofimov previously held multiple roles at KPMG from 2006 to 2017, including Associate Director and Senior Manager in Transaction Services, where management of large international financial due diligence projects was a key responsibility. Trofimov's expertise also includes significant contributions to accounting advisory services, particularly in the first-time adoption of IFRS for major Russian clients. Prior experience includes leading the Consolidated Accounts Department at NTV Broadcasting, where the preparation of group financial statements under IFRS and US GAAP was achieved. Educational credentials include a Bachelor of Economics and a Master of Financial Management from Lomonosov Moscow State University, along with Fellow membership in the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
