Gurmeet Singh

Gurmeet Singh has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Gurmeet is currently the Founder and CEO of GMoney Loans since April 2020.

Prior to this, from 2016 to March 2020, they worked as a Director at Inditrade, where they successfully scaled up the broking business, turned it profitable, and established the Agri lending business. Gurmeet also raised funds from international investors during their tenure.

Before joining Inditrade, Gurmeet served as the Managing Partner at Arcade IBF, an entrepreneurial venture in gold refining, from June 2015 to July 2016. Gurmeet played a key role in setting up the business operations in India, Dubai, and Ghana.

Gurmeet also held a leadership position at Reliance Securities (Reliance Money) Limited from October 2005 to September 2009, where they served as the Head of Product Management Group & Commodities Business. they were responsible for digital strategy, product launch, scaling up the platform, and managing the PnL of the commodities business. Gurmeet demonstrated exceptional performance and was rewarded with five promotions in five years.

Earlier in their career, Gurmeet joined ICICI Direct/ICICI CommTrade as the National Sales Manager - Commodities from July 2003 to September 2005. Here, they successfully set up the franchisee channel and launched ICICI Comm Trade, a new business initiative for the company.

Gurmeet started their career at Baazee.com (now eBay India) in June 2000 as a Category Manager - Jewellery. Gurmeet played a crucial role in registering customers and sellers, and was later promoted to be a part of the Category Management Team.
