Aftab Ahmad

Aftab Ahmad has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Aftab is currently working as the Chief Technology Officer & VP of IT at GMS Health & Travel Insurance since August 2021. Prior to this, they served as the Director of Electronic Medical Records and Business Transformation at Saskatchewan Medical Association (SMA) from November 2016 to October 2021. Before SMA, they worked as a Senior Manager - Technology Strategy & Architecture at Deloitte Consulting from September 2014 to October 2016. Aftab also held the position of Director Portfolio Management eHealth/Manager Information Technology at eHealth Saskatchewan from September 2010 to September 2014. Aftab started their career at Deloitte Canada as a Manager Consulting - SAP from 2010 to 2011 and worked as a Business Lead - SAP Finance at Cameco Corporation from 2006 to 2010.

Aftab Ahmad has a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the University of Alabama at Birmingham. Aftab also has a Master Certificate in Project Management from the Schulich School of Business - York University. In addition, they have received Lean Leadership Training from the Saskatoon Health Region.
