Francisco Javier Fernandez Sanchez

Francisco Javier Fernandez Sanchez is an experienced professional with over two decades in software engineering and IT project leadership at GMV. As the Head of Software Engineering Section, Francisco successfully led the development of Latin America's first social network for SMEs. In previous roles, significant achievements include managing the online channel for Telecom & Media and improving supply chain efficiencies for BP Solar through extensive consultancy efforts across multiple continents. Francisco has also managed various platforms and solutions as a Technical Manager, providing support for account management and business development activities. Prior experience includes leading a technical team at Uno-e Bank (BBVA) to develop new financial services. Francisco holds a BS degree in Physics with a specialty in Electronics from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and is certified as PMP, PMI-ACP, and CSM.
