Yong Kai Wong serves as Managing Director, Head of Special Projects and Co-General Counsel at CITIC Capital since December 2012, earning multiple accolades including the General Counsel of the Year awards from China Law and Practice and CBLJ Awards, as well as recognition for Best Financial Services Team at the HK ALB Legal Awards. With significant involvement in private equity, venture capital, and compliance, Yong Kai Wong also holds leadership roles in organizations such as APREA and the Asian Institute of Financial Law. Previous experience includes positions in GNC and Harbin Pharmaceutical Group, complemented by a robust educational background featuring an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and an LLM from the University of Cambridge.
