Daniel Espinosa is an accomplished electrical engineer with extensive experience in academia and the energy sector. Currently serving as the CEO of PowerWare Media Core, Daniel is also the founder of LibreSCL since 2015 and has been a member of the GNOME Foundation since 2012, contributing to various projects. As a professor at UNAM Ciudad Universitaria, Daniel teaches courses on substation automation and electrical protection systems. In addition, Daniel holds the position of Jefe de Disciplina at Comisión Federal de Electricidad and was a member of SC B5 for CIGRE Mexico from 2008 to 2016. Educational credentials include a degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Instituto Politécnico Nacional, obtained between 1992 and 1997.
