Niels de Graef

Niels De Graef is a Senior Product Owner at Red Hat since October 2021 and a member of the GNOME Foundation since September 2017, where Niels maintains several core apps and libraries while contributing to additional projects. Prior experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Barco from October 2017 to September 2021, focusing on multimedia livestreams and hardware-accelerated media processing using GStreamer and related technologies. Niels also worked as a Software Engineer at Solvace in July 2016, migrating a custom closed-source application to a Ruby on Rails and EmberJS-based web app. Niels holds a Master of Science in Engineering, Computer Science, and a Bachelor's degree in Informatics, both from Ghent University.
