Byron Auguste

Byron Auguste is the CEO and Co-founder of Opportunity@Work, a nonprofit focused on enhancing career access for talented individuals in the U.S. Byron co-founded Opportunity@Work at New America and has held positions as an Independent Board Director at Reinvent Technology Partners and as a Research Fellow at Autodesk, concentrating on the impacts of digital technologies on business models and value creation. Prior to these roles, Byron served as Deputy Director of the National Economic Council at The White House, overseeing economic policy coordination. With over 20 years at McKinsey & Company as a Senior Partner, Byron specialized in technology and communications, education, economic development, and innovation. Academic credentials include a DPhil and MPhil in Economics from the University of Oxford, as well as a B.A. in Economics and Political Science from Yale University.
