Yemi Adesokan

Yemi Adesokan is an award-winning scientist, entrepreneur and biotech executive with a track record in technology innovation, product and business development, as well as team and portfolio management. Yemi has worked as a strategic consultant to leading pharmaceutical companies. In a strategic advisor role to a pharmaceutical company with over $25Billion in sales, he helped launch and manage the life cycle of a drug with annual peak sales of $1.5Billion. Yemi has been recognized globally for his work with awards, including the Boston Business Journal 40 under 40 award and the MIT Technology Review’s annual list of 35 top global innovators MIT TR35. He holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of California, Irvine and completed a post-doctoral appointment in genetics at Harvard Medical School with George Church. In his spare time, Yemi serves as a Trustee of the American School of Madrid (ASM), Spain, where he remains committed to instilling a passion for science in the next generation. Yemi loves travelling and watching NCAA basketball. His three daughters have a cat named Tiger with hopefully the best microbiome of all felines.
