Maria Mifsud has extensive experience in football management and development, currently serving in various roles at the Malta Football Association since September 2007, including Executive President's Office and Deputy General Secretary for Grassroots, Youth Development & Education. Responsibilities include overseeing grassroots football initiatives, women's football development, and corporate social responsibility projects. Maria is also involved in organizing national tournaments and has served as UEFA Match Delegate. Briefly working as Assistant General Coordinator for the FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup in 2014 and Football Planning Manager for London 2012, Maria holds a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise from the University of Malta and a Master's degree in Olympic Studies from the University of Peloponnese.
