Daniel Watson

Daniel Watson is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in system architecture and development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at Go since May 2023, Daniel developed a microservice to streamline Excel spreadsheet calculations in-house for insurance rates. Prior experience includes significant contributions at Netflix, where Daniel created a distributed system for converting Cassandra database backups, and at Tower Hill Insurance Group, where Daniel led the transition of legacy systems to modern architectures. Daniel's background also includes leadership roles in developing applications and frameworks that improved both user experience and operational efficiency across multiple organizations, including as Director of Information Technology at Paperless Technologies, LLC. An alumnus of the University of Florida, Daniel holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.
