Choong Luen Lien

Choong Luen Lien currently serves as Group Head Driver Platform and Singapore GM at Gojek, a position held since February 2019. An experienced adventurer and motivational speaker, Choong Luen has completed notable mountaineering expeditions including summiting Mount Everest and K2, participated in ultra-marathons and adventure races, and earned medals in track and field. In prior roles, Choong Luen advised the Singapore and Vietnamese governments on sports policy and tourism infrastructure, led strategy initiatives at the National Research Foundation, and worked at McKinsey & Company focusing on public sector projects. Choong Luen has a distinguished military background, having commanded units as a Commando Officer, and holds multiple degrees including an MBA from London Business School and an MA from the University of Cambridge.
