Kevin Prior

Kevin Prior is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as the Engineering Director at Go North East since September 2025. Prior to this, Kevin held various senior managerial roles at Envision AESC from March 2019 to September 2025, overseeing engineering and production functions. Kevin's extensive background includes significant positions at Nissan Motor Corporation between June 2011 and March 2019, where responsibilities spanned from managing the battery plant's engineering operations to maintenance supervision. Additional engineering experience was gained at Tarmac, Findus Group, and GRUNDFOS, with roles focused on project delivery, electrical systems management, and machine maintenance. Kevin holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the University of Sunderland and has completed HNC and ONC qualifications in Engineering from South Tyneside College.
