Systems Engineer at RADAR

Vikas Bollapragada Subrahmanya has a varied work experience beginning in 2011 when they were an RF Engineer at Ericsson India. In this role, they analyzed different KPIs of LTE networks obtained from drive tests and isolated problem areas, as well as fine tuned network parameters to optimize performance. In 2013, they began working at Clemson University as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Graduate Assistant. In 2018, they took on a Research Intern role at ARRIS, where they simulated a Wi-Fi mesh backbone network, tested the performance of Wi-Fi mesh network with different scheduling approaches, and developed a metric to quantify the quality of Wi-Fi signal based on packet-drop data. In 2021, they became a Systems Engineer at RADAR and a Research Intern at Samsung Research America.

Vikas Bollapragada Subrahmanya's education history includes a Doctor of Philosophy - PhD in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Clemson University from 2016 to 2020, a Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Clemson University from 2012 to 2016, and a Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from National Institute of Technology Hamirpur from 2007 to 2011.
