Bharat Krishnamurthy has a diverse work experience spanning across various roles and industries. Bharat started their career as a Systems Analyst at Sonata Software Limited in 2001, followed by a role as a Software Engineer at California Digital Corporation in 2002. In the same year, they also worked as a Programmer at the University of New Mexico.

From 2003 to 2004, Bharat served as a Research Assistant at the Los Alamos National Laboratory, where they focused on enhancing the performance of large scale Linux clusters. In 2005, they joined Thinix as a Senior Software Engineer, leading the product development of Linux based Thinix Thin Client and Thinix Management Appliances.

Bharat then worked at IBM Research from 2006 to 2013, initially as a Member of Technical Staff and later as an Architect for the Bharti Airtel account. During this time, they developed new technologies and played a crucial role in the design and development of IBM's Rapid Migration Engine.

In 2013, Bharat joined Exide Life Insurance as a Vice President, Enterprise Applications Service Management and Business Transformation. Bharat later held the positions of Executive Vice President and Head of Information Technology, and Chief Technology Officer, leading various functions including product management, engineering, and technology-driven business transformation.

In 2020, Bharat joined Paytm as Vice President - Engineering, where they played a key role in building the technology infrastructure for Paytm Money, Paytm Insurance Broking, and Paytm General Insurance.

Most recently, Bharat became the Vice President at Yubi in 2022.

Bharat Krishnamurthy holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Computer Science from The National Institute of Engineering, which they completed from 1997 to 2001. Bharat later pursued a Master of Science degree in Computer Science from The University of New Mexico, completing it from 2002 to 2004.
