District Partnerships at Goalbook

Nadia Williams has worked in a variety of roles in the education sector since 2008. Nadia began their career as a Teacher in the Cobb County School District. Nadia then moved on to become Digital Learning Coordinator, where they designed training programs and materials to cultivate buy-in and spearheaded the creation of a leadership training group called CATALYST. In 2019, they moved to Goalbook as District Partnerships. Currently, Nadia is Digital Transformation Coach at the Cobb County School District, where they support their teacher colleagues in tasks from co-teaching classes, co-planning lessons, offering Professional Learning and pairing them with the people, products, or tools to help support them in making their dream lessons become reality. Additionally, they are President Of The Board Of Directors at the Junior League of Cobb-Marietta.

Nadia Williams has a diverse educational background. Nadia began their studies in 2003, earning a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Communication and Media Studies from Kennesaw State University in 2007. In 2004, they also completed a Bachelor's degree in International Journalism from The American University of Paris. In 2010, they earned a Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) in Secondary English Education from Kennesaw State University. From 2014 to 2015, they obtained an Ed. S. in Educational/Instructional Technology from Kennesaw State University. Currently, they are pursuing a Doctor of Education - EdD in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from American College of Education, which they are expected to complete in 2022. Additionally, they have obtained certifications from the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, including Middle Grades English Language Arts (Grades 4-8) in 2008, Gifted In-Field Certification, Instructional Technology, and Teaching Certification, State of Georgia.
