Carly Thalmann has over twelve years of work experience in the fundraising and development industry. Carly began their career in 2008 as a Business Manager and Special Events Coordinator for Stem & Co. From 2010 to 2012, they were the Northern NJ The Body Shop Foundation Captain and Store Manager, responsible for overseeing a $1.2 million store location. Carly then moved to The LOFT as the Northeast Region Charitable Initiatives Leader, managing the Northeast Region annual “Thanks and Giving Campaign” for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. In 2014, they took on the role of Program Manager (Contractor) at Children's Specialized Hospital, where they managed corporate partnership fundraising campaigns and cause-related marketing campaigns. Carly then moved to the American Red Cross as a Major Gifts Officer, Donor Acquisition in 2015. In 2016, they became the Director of Development and Communications for The New York Junior League. In 2018, they took on the roles of Associate Director of Annual Giving and Philanthropy Gift Officer at Moffitt Cancer Center. In 2020, they joined TrueSense Marketing as an Account Director. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at Gobel as the Vice President of Annual Giving and Digital Programs and a Senior Consultant.
Carly Thalmann obtained their Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management from Columbia University in the City of New York between 2014 and 2017. Carly also holds a BFA in Painting and Art Theirtory from Rutgers University, which they obtained between 2005 and 2008. Additionally, they are CPR/AED/First Aid - Adult and Pediatric Certified from the American Red Cross.
