Chad Gobel has an extensive work experience in healthcare philanthropic consulting, development, and external affairs. In 2011, they founded and became the CEO of Gobel, a healthcare philanthropic consulting firm that now works with over 300 hospitals across the world. From 2008 to 2011, they served as the Chief Development Officer at the University of Rochester Medical Center. From 2005 to 2008, they were the Associate Chairman of Development at the Cleveland Clinic. From 2001 to 2005, they were the Assistant Dean for External Affairs at The Ohio State University. From 1999 to 2001, they founded and served as President of LearnEveryDay, Inc., a for-profit lifelong learning company. From 1994 to 1999, they were the Executive Director of Development and Assistant to the President at the University of Maryland. From 1993 to 1994, they were a Special Assistant in the Office of Congressman Steny H. Hoyer at the U.S. House of Representatives.
Chad Gobel earned their MBA from The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business in 2006. Prior to that, they earned their BA in Political Science and English from Towson University in 1993.
