Spencer Mertel

Spencer Mertel is an experienced professional in workforce management and capacity planning, currently serving as the Director of Workforce Management & Capacity Planning at Brightside since August 2024. Spencer also operates as a Strategic Planning Consultant since October 2022. Previously, Spencer held the position of Senior Manager, Workforce Management at Checkr, Inc. from March 2022 to April 2024, and worked at Oracle as a Workforce Manager from August 2020 to March 2022. Spencer's career began at Wave Broadband, where roles included Workforce Analyst, Technical Support Supervisor, Retention Supervisor, and Customer Service and Sales Representative from February 2007 to July 2020. Spencer holds an Associates of Science degree in Audio Production from Full Sail University, completed in 2017.
