Calum McLarnon has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and industries.
Calum started their career as a Sales Assistant at Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc in 2005 and worked there until 2007.
From 2007 to 2012, they worked at HMV as a Stockroom and Sales Assistant, responsible for processing stock, maintaining shelves, creating displays, and assisting customers.
Following that, in 2012, they joined Play.com as a Merchant Support Coordinator, where they handled customer inquiries and claims, processed returns, and managed merchant subscriptions.
In 2014, they became a Merchant Services Advisor at Rakuten.co.uk, where their responsibilities included training merchants, writing guides, assisting with store design, contacting potential merchants, and investigating fraud.
In 2018, they briefly worked as a Runner at SpecialGun Productions.
In 2016, they joined Worldpay as a Corporate Support Manager, providing support to high-tiered travel customers and managing operational queries and requests through Salesforce.
At Worldpay, they also held the role of Implementation Manager from 2018 to 2021, where they supported customers with new products, troubleshooting, and project management.
In 2021, they joined GoCardless as a Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer II, and later, in 2022, they moved on to become a Solutions Engineer III.
Throughout their career, McLarnon has developed skills in customer service, technical support, project management, and sales.
Calum McLarnon completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Video Games and Animation Technology at Anglia Ruskin University from 2008 to 2011.
