Fiachra Doherty

Fiachra Doherty has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Fiachra started their career as an R&D Lab Technician at Glen Dimplex, where they conducted failure analysis and ensured product compliance with safety standards. Fiachra then worked as an Administrative Assistant at University College Dublin, where they assessed the introduction of Industry 4.0 to the Irish manufacturing sector and researched prospective clients/partners. Fiachra then joined Crowley Carbon as an Energy Engineer, leading energy audits across Europe, South America, and LATAM, and developing engineering solutions to reduce energy consumption in various environments. After that, they worked at ESB as an Energy Services Analyst, where they reviewed energy projects, processed energy credits payments, and conducted energy profile analysis for industrial sites. Currently, Fiachra is working at GoCardless as a Sales Development Representative and has recently been promoted to the role of Account Executive. At GoCardless, they contribute to increasing visibility and success rates of recurring payments while reducing administrative work.

Fiachra Doherty attended University College Dublin from 2014 to 2018, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. In addition to their degree, they have obtained several certifications. In August 2021, Fiachra became a Certified Energy Manager (CEM) and a Certified Measurement & Verification Professional through the Association of Energy Engineers. Fiachra also holds a Driving License, which they obtained in August 2013 from the National Driver License Service. Furthermore, Fiachra obtained a Safe Pass certification from SOLAS (An tSeirbhís Oideachais Leanúnaigh agus Scileanna) in July 2018.
