Jake Teagle

Jake Teagle has a diverse work experience in the field of talent and recruitment. Jake started their career as a Recruitment Consultant at SOVEREIGN BUSINESS RESOURCES LIMITED from September 2008 to February 2011. Jake then joined Next Ventures as an EMEA Search Consultant, specializing in Tech recruitment, from February 2011 to September 2012. After that, they took a sabbatical to travel to Asia and South America, volunteering and exploring various countries from October 2012 to April 2013.

When they returned, Jake worked at Client Server as a Recruitment Consultant for Front End Development from May 2013 to May 2014. Jake then moved to a Senior Recruitment Consultant role in Front End Development at the same company from June 2014 to October 2015. In November 2015, they became a Team Lead, managing key accounts and a team of recruitment consultants at Client Server until May 2016.

Following that, Jake joined Gamesys as a Recruitment Manager for Tech and Product, where they contributed to the company's growth from around 1000 employees to over 1500 and its transition from a private limited company to a PLC. Jake worked there from June 2016 to March 2021.

Currently, Jake is working at GoCardless as a Talent Partner. Jake joined in March 2021 and has held two roles within the company. Firstly, they were a Talent Partner II, focusing on hiring exceptional talent and streamlining interview processes. Currently, as a Talent Partner III, they specialize in Software Engineering, Engineering Management, and Leadership recruitment, aiming to collect payments and access customers' bank account data securely.

Jake Teagle attended Enfield Grammar School from 2000 to 2008. During their time there, they studied A-Levels in Business Studies (Double Award) and Government & Politics. In March 2022, they obtained First Aid Training from St John Ambulance.
