Kamila Aliyeva

Kamila Aliyeva has a strong background in talent acquisition and recruitment. Kamila started their career at AzerNews Newspaper as a Journalist, where they gained experience in interviewing, editing, and publishing news stories. Kamila then moved on to become the Deputy Editor In Chief, responsible for managing a team of journalists and negotiating media partnership agreements.

In 2019, Kamila joined Cabot Corporation as a Recruiting Intern, where they gained hands-on experience in talent acquisition. Kamila then advanced to become a Recruiting Administrator, handling recruitment responsibilities for EMEA and North America. In this role, they focused on training HR organizations on ATS usage and managers on competency-based interviewing. Kamila also served as a Talent Acquisition Representative/Recruiter EMEA, becoming a consultant and partner to hiring managers and site HRs on best practices in hiring.

Currently, Kamila is working as a Talent Partner at GoCardless, where they are leveraging their expertise in talent acquisition to support the company in recruiting top talent.

Kamila Aliyeva completed their Bachelor's degree in Germanic Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU) between 2011 and 2015. Kamila then pursued a Master's degree in Educational Management at ADA University from 2016 to 2018. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have obtained various certifications that include "Certificate: The HR Consultant: A Masterclass with Bill Pelster" from Josh Bersin Academy in February 2023, "Certified Diversity and Inclusion Recruiter" from AIRS powered by ADP in June 2022, and "Human Resources: Compensation and Benefits" from LinkedIn in May 2022, among others.
