Sedat Yurdakan

Sedat Yurdakan has a diverse work experience spanning a range of industries and roles. Sedat began their career as an intern at Eczacibasi Arteama in 2007, followed by an internship at Alcatel Italia in 2008. In 2008, Yurdakan joined AIESEC Turkey, where they held various managerial positions, including Business Development and Marketing Manager and Sales and Marketing Manager. During their time at AIESEC, they achieved significant increases in corporate sales and fundraising revenue. In 2012, Yurdakan worked as an Enterprise Account Manager at Rubigoo, a start-up technology agency focused on retail and experimental marketing. From 2013 to 2016, they served as a Business Analyst at Turkcell, collaborating with sales teams to develop value-based solutions. In 2016, Yurdakan joined LinkedIn as a Sales Development Specialist and later became a Senior Account Executive in the LinkedIn Learning Solutions division. Sedat helped companies embrace a learning culture and provided access to high-quality video tutorials taught by industry experts. Yurdakan's next role was at Stripe in 2020, where they served as a Senior Account Executive and later as a Senior Software Platforms Account Executive and Manager. At Stripe, Yurdakan focused on integrating payments and financial services into software products to solve customer needs. Most recently, in 2023, Yurdakan joined GoCardless as a Senior Manager of Global Strategic Partnerships.

Sedat Yurdakan obtained their Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Uludag University. Sedat then participated in the Erasmus Programme at Università degli Studi di Salerno, specializing in Electronics Engineering. In 2022, Sedat started pursuing a Postgraduate Degree in Computer Science at Technological University Dublin. In terms of certifications, Sedat has completed courses such as "Design Thinking: Implementing the Process" and "Design Thinking: Understanding the Process" from LinkedIn in November 2018, as well as "Creating a Culture of Learning" in October 2017.
