Kostas Hatalis, Ph.D. has a long and varied work experience. In 2021, they founded and became the CEO of GoCharlie.AI. In 2020, they worked as an AI Consultant for Stealth, conducting research projects in prototyping large language models and writing and submitting AI research proposals to NSF (PI) and DARPA (sub-award). In 2019, they worked as a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Institute for Cyber Physical Infrastructure & Energy (I-CPIE), researching deep learning architectures for probabilistic forecasting in a regression and time series context for applications in smart transportation, smart grid, and smart cities. From 2013 to 2019, they worked as a Research Assistant in the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at Lehigh University, researching novel machine learning and probabilistic forecasting frameworks for applications to renewable energies and the smart grid. From 2012 to 2013, they worked as a Research Assistant in the P.C. Rossin College of Engineering and Applied Science at Lehigh University, focusing on computational cognitive neuroscience research, studying the effects of external activations in semantic interference through neural network simulations.

Kostas Hatalis, Ph.D. began their educational journey at Lehigh University in 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Computer Science and Business in 2012. Kostas then pursued a Master of Science in Computer Science at Lehigh University, which they completed in 2013. Finally, they earned a Doctor of Philosophy in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University in 2019.
