Katy Cappozzo

Katy Cappozzo, CIPM, CIPP/US, FIP, serves as the Privacy Risk Compliance Manager at GoDaddy since December 2020, where privacy by design concepts are mandated throughout the business, and privacy incidents are managed and resolved with regulators. Previously, Katy held the role of Privacy Program Manager at MGM Resorts International, overseeing all privacy efforts and ensuring compliance with multiple privacy regulations, including CCPA and GDPR. Other roles include administrative and investigative positions at the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, Troy Group, Inc., the State of Florida, and an internship at the Tallahassee Police Department. Katy holds a Master of Science in Criminal Justice from Florida International University and a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology from Florida State University.
