Peter Gibson

Peter Gibson has a strong background in software engineering and DevOps. Peter started their career as a freelance software engineer in 2011 before joining RhythmOne in 2013. At RhythmOne, they worked as a Software Engineer and Site Reliability/DevOps Engineer, where they designed and developed video transcoding architecture and handled large-scale data submissions. Peter also led the migration of systems to Amazon Web Services. In 2018, they joined Pagely as a DevOps Engineer before being promoted to Sr. DevOps Engineer in 2020. Currently, they are working as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer at GoDaddy since November 2021.

Peter Gibson obtained their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of York, where they studied from 2008 to 2011. In addition, they have earned two certifications from Amazon Web Services: AWS Certified DevOps Engineer - Professional in October 2018 and AWS Certified Developer - Associate in March 2016.
