Patrick Obeng-Frimpong has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Patrick began their career as a Quality Control Associate at Tema Lube Oil Company Ltd. in 2003. Patrick then worked as a Project Associate at Pathfynders Consult from 2004 to 2006. In 2008, they joined Breaking Ground (formerly Common Ground) as a Housing Advocate, eventually becoming a Snr. Housing Advocate from 2011 to 2012. Patrick also worked as a Quality Assurance Analyst, providing support on funding applications, contracts renewals, and reports at Breaking Ground from 2013 to 2013.

In 2014, Obeng-Frimpong became a partner at Transmulti-itmedia, a role they held until 2022. From 2017 onwards, they worked at Goddard Riverside, initially as a Quality Assurance Analyst responsible for interpreting requirements and developing internal management systems. Patrick then served as a Quality Assurance Manager, planning and implementing program initiatives. Since February 2020, they have been the Director of Contract Compliance and Quality Assurance, overseeing contract registrations and communication between divisions.

Throughout their career, Obeng-Frimpong has demonstrated a strong focus on compliance, data collection, analysis, and process improvement.

Patrick Obeng-Frimpong completed their Bachelor's degree in Planning from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, from 1999 to 2003. Patrick then pursued a Masters in Urban Affairs (Public Policy and Leadership) at Hunter College from 2006 to 2008.
