Matt Lariviere has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Matt began their career as an IT Technician I at Pleasant Valley School District from June 2013 to July 2015, where they recorded and processed new student laptops, inventoried and maintained computers, and installed new computers and laptops.
Matt then worked as a Research Chemist at Westmont College from February 2016 to May 2017, conducting inorganic synthesis and characterization of N-ferrocenyl amides. Matt'sresponsibilities included performing experiments, analyzing data, and providing technical reports.
From June 2017 to August 2019, Matt served as a Clinical Studies Coordinator and Clinical Core Lab Technician at the La Jolla Institute for Immunology. In this role, they collaborated with principal investigators on donor recruitment, study design, IRB documentation, phlebotomy services, and lab services.
In August 2019, they joined the City of Los Angeles as a Full Stack Engineer, where they built an administrative file management system using Amazon S3 Bucket and AWS SDK for LA Pathways, a web portal providing business resources to entrepreneurs.
Matt then transitioned to GoDocs, a company providing an online intelligent document generation platform for commercial real estate loans, in April 2021. Matt initially worked as a Software Engineer, where they built and managed a new web application using the Vue.js/C#/.NET/SQL stack. Later, they were promoted to Senior Software Engineer, responsible for designing and managing integrating features using new technologies, patterns, and solutions to enhance application features. Matt also worked closely with Product Owners and engineers for both the LoanDocSolutions platform and new applications.
Currently, Matt is the Lead Senior Software Engineer of the Internal Systems Integrations Group at GoDocs, leading the engineering team in guiding and managing the integration of features using new technologies and solutions to enhance and reimagine application features. Matt actively participates in design discussions and collaborates with Product Owners and engineers to plan the technical roadmap.
Matt Lariviere holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemistry from Westmont College. In addition, they have obtained certifications as a Certified Scrum Developer (CSD) and a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) from the Scrum Alliance. Matt achieved the CSD certification in November 2021 and obtained the CSM certification in January 2021.
