Abhay Kataria currently serves as the Business Head of Loan Against Property at Godrej Capital since July 2023. Previously, Kataria held the position of Head of SME - Loan Against Property at Bandhan Bank from April 2022 to July 2023, overseeing the SME-LAP business. At Ujjivan Small Finance Bank Limited, from August 2017 to April 2022, Kataria was the Business Head for Affordable Housing Loans, responsible for setting up the business with a focus on compliance, sales, underwriting, and fundraising to facilitate financial access for the lower and middle-income segments. From September 2015 to August 2017, Kataria was the Head of Business for Home Loans at Muthoot Housing Finance Company Limited, where business strategy and P&L management were key responsibilities. Earlier, in 2015, Kataria worked as Product Head for Mortgages at IndusInd Bank. Academic qualifications include an MBA in Finance and Marketing from Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies and a BSc from St. Xavier's College.
