Rajan Raghavachari earned their Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering from Annamalai University between 1986 and 1990. Rajan then pursued a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering at Regional Engineering College, Trichy, India from 1990 to 1991. Later, Rajan went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Chemical Engineering at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1992 to 1996. Additionally, they are a Life Member of the Indian Institute of Chemical Engineers (LM IIChE) at IIChE.
