Jake Gress

Jake Gress has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several companies and leadership roles. Jake is currently serving as the President of Goettl Air Conditioning & Plumbing since August 2022. Prior to this, Jake held various positions at L&W Supply from 2010 to 2022, including Vice President Operations, VP Sales and Operations, West L&W Supply, and Vice President, Marketing. In their role as VP Marketing, they were responsible for category management, marketing communications, sales support, and segmentation across multiple locations nationwide.

Before joining L&W Supply, Jake worked at USG starting in 2003, where they held positions such as Sr. Director, Surfaces Division and Sr. Director, National Accounts Lowe's. Jake led a team of product managers and managed key accounts, developing marketing strategies, distribution opportunities, and category management initiatives.

Jake also has experience in product management and marketing roles at USG from 2003 to 2007 and at Coleman from 2002 to 2003. Prior to that, they worked at Sanford as a Sr. Brand Manager for Uni-ball/Papermate from 1997 to 2002.

Jake Gress began their education in 1991 at Eastern Illinois University, where they pursued a degree in Business with a focus on Marketing. Following their undergraduate studies, Jake enrolled in the Wisconsin School of Business in 1995 for a Master of Business Administration (MBA) program specializing in Marketing.
