Eric Toureilles

Eric Toureilles has a diverse work experience spanning several roles and companies. Eric is currently serving as the Director of Information Systems at GoExpedi since September 2020. Before that, they worked as the Principal Owner at ET-tech Consulting from January 2018 to September 2020. From February 2015 to January 2018, Eric held the position of VP, IT and eCommerce at Parker School Uniforms, LLC.

Prior to that, they had an extensive tenure at Academy Sports + Outdoors, where they held various positions. Eric served as the Sr. Director of eCommerce, overseeing the development and implementation of objectives, policies, and budgets for the eCommerce business unit. Eric also led a team of IT Directors and professionals as the Vice President of Information Technology, managing the technology infrastructure for a multi-billion dollar organization. Additionally, Eric was the Director of Infrastructure & Operations, responsible for the day-to-day operations of the IT department and managing a team of managers and professionals.

Before joining Academy Sports + Outdoors, Eric worked as a Senior Manager of DC Operations at Randall's Foods, Inc. from February 1986 to August 1990. In this role, they managed the distribution center office and was responsible for clerical input, replenishment processes, and system recommendations to enhance efficiency.

Eric Toureilles earned a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of St. Thomas, which they attended from 1984 to 1989. In 2001, they briefly studied Leadership & Management, specializing in BS Mechanical Engineering, at the University of Houston. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in MIT - Distribution & Logistics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in March 2007 and in the 7 Habits of Highly Effective People from Franklin Covey in February 2004.
