Andy Chang has been working in the finance and technology industries since 2000. Andy began their career at Trend Micro as a Marketing & Tech Support. In 2004, they joined Citi as a Financial Consultant. In 2007, they moved to Merrill Lynch as a Financial Advisor. In 2011, they joined Morgan Stanley as an Investment Representative/ Vice President. In 2021, they became the Chief Strategy Officer (CSO) & Partner at Hermitage Capital, a private equity firm with US$1.2 billion AUM, with offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai and New York. Additionally, they are Co-Founder of GOFA, an AI Health tech startup, leading in Computer vision and Machine learning, with a team of over 35 international talents and offices in SF and HK.
Andy Chang has an extensive educational background. Andy obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Transportation Management from Tamkang University between 1996 and 2001. In 2000, they obtained a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer: Windows 2000 Server (MCSE) from Microsoft. In 2015 and 2016, they completed a Quantitative Finance Program from Stanford University, with a focus on Quantitative Finance and Algorithmic trading. Most recently, they completed the MIT Sloan & MIT CSAIL Artificial Intelligence: Implications for Business Strategy Program from the MIT Sloan School of Management in 2020 and 2021, with a focus on AI & Business Strategy.
