Alex Goga

Alex Goga has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Alex is currently the CEO and Founder of Gogalex | Business Intelligence Solutions, a position they have held since January 2022. Prior to this, they were the Principal and Founder of the same company from January 2017 to December 2021.

In 2021, Alex also worked as the CTO and Co-Founder of Pharaoh Soft starting in September.

Before starting their own businesses, Alex worked at Qlik as an Implementation Consultant from March 2015 to February 2017, where they designed, implemented, and optimized Qlik solutions for Fortune 500 companies across industries.

In 2013 and 2015, Alex worked as a Business Intelligence Developer at Fuzion and as a FileMaker Certified Developer at DB Services, Inc, respectively. In these roles, they built custom solutions and engaged stakeholders for requirements gathering and support.

Prior to that, Alex held a position as a Project Analyst at First Data Corporation from October 2011 to September 2012.

From 2008 to 2011, Alex worked as a Territory Manager at RJ Reynolds, where they exceeded performance goals and received exceptional performance awards.

Alex's earlier experience includes roles such as a Database Developer at 4-H Purdue University Extension Montgomery County in 2007, an Inventory Management Trainee at Gebr. Heinemann in 2006, and a Trade Marketing Intern at Imperial Tobacco in 2006.

Throughout their career, Alex has demonstrated expertise in business intelligence, data analysis, project management, and stakeholder engagement.

Alex Goga attended the Tudor Vianu National College of Computer Science from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained a Romanian Baccalaureate in Mathematics and Computer Science. From 2004 to 2008, they attended Wabash College and earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Economics. In terms of additional certifications, Alex obtained various Qlik certifications from 2014 to 2022, including QlikView and Qlik Sense certifications in data architecture, business analysis, system administration, and design.
