Chris Dinsley

Chief Operating Officer at GCM

Chris Dinsley has extensive work experience in various leadership roles in the aerospace and metals industries. Chris most recently served as the Chief Operating Officer at GCM. Prior to that, they worked at OMADA International as the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Technical Operations, where they specialized in proprietary titanium hot forming and complex machining for military and commercial aerospace applications. Chris also held the position of Technical Director at Arconic and its subsidiary Alcoa Fastening Systems & Rings. Chris began their career at Firth Rixson and later transitioned to Operations Director before becoming a Technical Director. Prior to that, they worked as a Process Development Metallurgist at Outokumpu.

Chris Dinsley completed their Bachelor of Engineering degree (BEng) with honors in Engineering Materials from Sheffield Hallam University between 1997 and 2000. Subsequently, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Materials and Engineering Research Institute (MERI) from 2000 to 2003. Chris'sdoctoral research focused on the fatigue properties of dissimilar metal laser welded lap joints.
