Jena Cooper has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Jena started their career as a Music Educator in Columbus Public Schools and Olentangy schools from 2004 to 2006. Following that, they worked as an Internet Marketing Consultant/Sales at Yellowbook/HIBU for nine years, where they focused on marketing campaigns, website design, and promotion for businesses.
In 2015, Jena joined META Solutions as a Professional Development Specialist, helping school districts and teachers implement educational technology and personalize learning for students. Jena worked closely with different programs and devices to customize classrooms.
From 2016 to 2017, Jena worked as a Blended Learning Coach at DSD Professional Development, where they trained teachers and instructional coaches on personalized learning approaches such as Project Based Learning and Blended Learning.
In 2016, they also served as the Marketing Director & Brand Manager at White Law Office, Co., overseeing marketing activities and brand management.
Jena then joined the Pickerington Local School District as the District Instructional Technology Coordinator from 2017 to 2021, where they played a key role in implementing instructional technology initiatives.
Starting in 2019, Jena became a Regional Partnership Manager at Pear Deck, where they managed partnerships and worked closely with schools to promote the effective use of technology in education.
Currently, Jena is working at GoGuardian. Jena first joined as an Account Executive from April 2021 to February 2022. Jena then transitioned to a Beacon Specialist role, focusing on GoGuardian's Beacon product to identify at-risk students. Currently, they hold the position of Sales Manager - Beacon and Edulastic Specialists, leading a team of product specialists to support sales efforts for GoGuardian.

Jena Cooper has a diverse education history. Jena first attended Ashland University from 1999 to 2003, where they earned their BME (Bachelor of Music Education) degree with a focus on Music Education. After that, from 2004 to 2006, Jena pursued their Master's degree in Music Teacher Education at Capital University. Jena later returned to Ashland University in 2016 and completed their Master of Education (MEd) degree in Administration, Curriculum, and Instruction in 2018.
