Jules Bennett has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Starting in 2010, they worked as an English Teacher at Colegio Lideres de Mexico, where they designed curriculum and organized cultural events. From 2013 to 2016, Jules worked as a History & Entrepreneurship Teacher at Aspire Public Schools. Following that, they worked as a Garde Manger & Cook at Boot & Shoe Service from 2016 to 2017. In 2017, Jules transitioned into the field of UX design and worked as a UX Design Consultant, leading the redesign of a financial advisors' website and designing an app for an education non-profit. From 2018 to 2021, Jules worked at Fjord, Part of Accenture Song, in various roles as a UX Designer and Service & Interaction Designer, collaborating with clients such as Microsoft, Cisco, and Google. In 2021, Jules joined ITX Corp as a Product Designer until the end of the year. Alongside their professional roles, Jules has also been involved in education and mentorship, working as a UX Design Tutor and Mentor at CareerFoundry from 2021 onwards. Currently, Jules holds the position of Senior Product Designer at GoGuardian, starting in 2022.
Jules Bennett's education history begins with their high school education at Homestead High School from 2002 to 2006. After graduating, they attended De Anza College from 2006 to 2008. While their degree and field of study at De Anza College are unknown, they later pursued a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in History at UC San Diego from 2008 to 2010. Jules then obtained a Certificate in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages from St. Giles International in June 2010.
Their academic journey continued with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Education at the University of California, Santa Cruz from 2012 to 2013. During their time at UC Santa Cruz, Jules also earned additional certifications, including the California Bilingual Authorization (Spanish) and the California Social Sciences Credential.
In 2017, Jules enrolled in UC Berkeley Extension to pursue a UX/UI Certification in User Experience Design, which they completed in 2018.
