Alex Timm

Alex Timm is the CEO and Founder of Root Inc., which focuses on consumer-centric auto insurance by providing rates based on actual driving behavior. Timm has served on the Member Board of Directors at GoHealth since January 2020. Prior experience includes roles at Nationwide Insurance from August 2011 to March 2015, progressing from Financial Leadership Rotational Associate to Senior Consultant in Corporate Strategy. Additionally, Timm was an Actuarial Exam Review Instructor at Drake University from December 2009 to January 2011. Timm holds a BSBA and BA in Actuarial Science, Accounting, and Mathematics from Drake University, completed in 2011.
