Vikas Gautam

Vikas Gautam has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Vikas is currently working as a Portfolio Manager (Associate Director) at IndiGo, starting in 2024. Prior to this, they worked at Rackspace Technology from 2022 to 2024, serving as a Manager, Software Development. In this role, they were responsible for driving product development and support, team engagement, project management deliverables, and professional management.

Before joining Rackspace, Vikas Gautam worked at Amdocs from 2010 to 2022. Vikas held the position of Software Development Manager, where they served as the primary management contact for clients and led cross-functional development and support teams. Additionally, they were a Group Lead, responsible for project meetings, stakeholder interactions, project scheduling, risk reporting, and conflict resolution.

Prior to Amdocs, Vikas Gautam worked at Sapient as a Senior Associate Technology for a brief period in 2010. Vikas also gained experience at Hewitt Associates from 2006 to 2010 as a Sr. Developer, focusing on low-level design, mentoring, coding, testing, and enhancements. Earlier in their career, they worked at Mascon Global as a Software Engineer and at Electrobug Technologies as a Programmer.

Vikas Gautam completed their Master of Computer Applications (MCA) degree from U.P.Technical University, Lucknow during the period of 2001-2004. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths from St. Johns College Agra between 1997 and 2000. Additionally, they obtained various certifications including Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in May 2019, Certified SAFe® 5 Agilist from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2022, and AI-Business, AI-Ready, and Cloud Learner certifications from Rackspace Technology in 2022-2023.
