Tom Townsend

Tom Townsend has a wealth of experience in software engineering. Tom began their career in 2012 as an intern at Service Works Group, where they created dashboard visualisations in C# and SQL. In 2013, they worked as a software developer at Heriot Watt University, Edinburgh, where they worked on Oil and Gas well modelling systems in C# with Git version control. From 2014 to 2017, they worked at IG as a developer, associate software developer, and graduate developer. During this time, they worked on Java middleware systems and React JavaScript applications to increase customer retention in the sign up stage of applying to the company, and practiced Continuous Delivery and developed automation through the stack. In 2017, they joined Goji as an Engineering Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer.

Tom Townsend attended Heriot-Watt University from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a Master's Degree in Computer Software Engineering.
