Mari Vaagland

Mari Vaagland has extensive experience in dance education and leadership within cultural schools, currently serving as Rektor at Gol kommune since January 2019, where responsibilities include planning, development, personnel management, budget oversight, and collaboration with local organizations. Previous positions include roles as a Dansepedagog at Jessheim danseskole, Sørum kommune, and Nannestad kommune, where Mari led numerous student performances and taught various dance techniques. Educational credentials include a Master's degree in Leadership from the University of Agder, a Bachelor's degree in Modern/Contemporary Dance from Norges dansehøyskole, and practical pedagogical training from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts.
