Tonje Benedikte Kopstad

Tonje Benedikte Kopstad has been serving as Personalsjef at Gol kommune since September 2015 and holds multiple leadership roles, including Utvalgsleder for utvalg for kultur og levekår and Kommunestyrerepresentant. Active in the Socialist Left Party (SOSIALISTISK VENSTREPARTI) since October 2017, Tonje serves as the 1. vara til Stortinget for Buskerud SV, and previously contributed as a Fylkesstyremedlem for Buskerud SV. Prior experience includes roles in the educational sector, such as Kontaktperson for videregående opplæring for Utdanningsforbundet Buskerud from August 2015 to October 2017, where Tonje participated in developing an educational political strategy document. Tonje has also held positions as Lokallagsleder for Gol SV and as a Realfaglærer in Buskerud fylkeskommune, where involvement in organizational development processes and educational methodologies was significant. Tonje's teaching experience began internationally at St. Josephs American School, focusing on accreditation requirements for educational standards. Educational qualifications were attained at the University of Oslo.
