Edson Tozato

Edson Tozato has a diverse work experience in procurement and supplier management. Edson has held various roles in different companies, starting with their current position as Head of Procurement at GOL Linhas Aéreas, where they oversee the procurement team for multiple company divisions. Prior to this, they worked at General Motors as a Procurement & Program Manager, responsible for handling engine, transmission, and thermal components for South America. Edson also served as the Raw Material Procurement Manager, where they focused on acquiring and sourcing raw materials for Brazil and Argentina. Before their time at General Motors, they worked at Honeywell as a Procurement Manager, overseeing purchasing and supplier development activities for the Brazil region. Edson started their career at International Trucks as a Purchasing Supervisor, where they were involved in the creation and implementation of the supply base for the company's operations in Brazil. Additionally, they have experience as a Senior Buyer at MWM Motores Diesel and General Motors (in a different role), and as a Buyer at Bosch Brasil. Throughout their career, Edson has showcased expertise in cost reduction projects, supplier negotiation, and strategic procurement planning.

Edson Tozato completed their Finance Master Graduation in Accounting and Finance at BSP - Business School São Paulo in 2016. Edson also obtained a Green Belt certification in Purchasing, Procurement/Acquisitions, and Contracts Management from Honeywell in 2014. Prior to that, they pursued a degree in Production Engineering at Fundação Santo Andre from 2005 to 2009, and at Escola de Engenharia Mauá from 2001 to 2005. Edson also attended Liceu Di Thiene for their high school education.
