Michael Edem Akafia

Michael Edem Akafia is currently the Vice President & Head: Legal, Compliance & Company Secretary at Gold Fields West Africa. Michael Edem also works as a Partner at Landmark@Legal and is a part-time lecturer at Zenith University College. Previously, Michael Edem has held positions such as General Manager at Socketworks Ghana Ltd and Associate at Bentsi-Enchill Letsa & Ankomah. Throughout their career, Michael Edem has acquired several educational qualifications, including an MBA in Finance from the University of Ghana and a Master of Laws in International Dispute Resolution from Queen Mary University of London.
