Rafael Guerrero Valqui is a seasoned mining engineer with 30 years of experience in various mining processes, currently serving as Mine Superintendent at Gold Fields since September 2017. With extensive expertise in mine design, resource estimation, and operational optimization, Rafael prioritizes safety protocols, environmental care, and production efficiency. Previous roles include General Foreman of Drilling and Blasting and Supervisor of General Operations at MINERA YANACOCHA, as well as the position of Jefe General de Mina at Gold Fields Ghana Limited. Academic qualifications include degrees in Mining Engineering from Universidad Alas Peruanas and Universidad Privada del Norte.
